What You'll Find Here...

When I was in 5th grade, I wasn't allowed in chorus. Every Tuesday at 2pm, every other kid in the grade went to chorus practice and 3 other kids and I did puzzles. That's how poorly I sing. 

But, the putting things together, the artistic and creative and pragmatic stuff - that I could always just do.  And so this site is a collection of things like that. 

• A blog that includes writing from as far back as when my knees didn't hurt so much. These include musing and old write-ups and posts and a dissection of graduate classes I once took a lifetime ago. As I write new pieces and musing, they are likely to be about library-related topics, books, raising teenagers, working in education, and trying to help build a more equitable world. All opinions, even those I am trying on to see if they mesh, are mine. 

• Some creative writing, essays, art, and published pieces that I've put out into the world. In some cases, here for the first time. 

• Book Reviews of titles I have read. 

• Library Literacy Guides - a collection of resources to help whoever needs guidance... on research, on citation, on college and careers, on finding books and other media. 

Mostly I just wanted to a place to put this accumulation of stuff both creative and otherwise. We'll see how it goes.
